otsopya
she walks with ease
with a slight tinge of tease
confident of each stride
such an angel in glide
she raises her head fighting a lie
self awareness ricocheting sky high
looking around
with a twinkle in her eye
a toughness knowing
she'll make men die
she sighed,
and the stars start trembling
with the anticipation
of fate crumbling
weighing the verdict
she had to lay
trying to forecast
the plea she'll hear all day
with a calmness
amidst the raging storm, she spoke
such softness you'll miss her carrying her heaviest yoke
a pearly bead
constantly running on her cheeks
pain enfolding her body, bleeding heart reeks
and then she let out
the sweetest smile
dimples adorning
the grimness after a while
she wills herself
to finally move on,
never knowing the how,
but she'll undoubtedly carry on
she's the woman
i wished myself to be i am
but she's also the woman
who wished to be i am
and the laughter broke out
for i cannot stifle anymore
upon fate's joke
that would haunt us both
forever more
